More About Me

A life-long resident of Oahu, Michael is intimately familiar with all neighborhoods and areas on this beautiful island. Growing up in Honolulu spending the majority of his youth at Waikiki Yacht Club, where he excelled in sailboat racing . This afforded him the opportunity to travel the United States and Canada at national and international championships with an eye towards competing in the Olympics.

Graduating from Mid- Pacific Institute and attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa makes him a true kamaaina. He later moved to the North Shore to pursue his passion for surfing and the country lifestyle. For over 20 years he has owned and operated his own surfboard manufacturing business, specializing in fiberglass construction and contracting with some of the world’s most prestigious surfing labels. Simultaneously, he worked at Turtle Bay Resort for 10 years. Starting as a banquet server and leaving as a manager.

Seeing the needs in his community prompted him to become involved with and later oversee the Community Foodbank in Haleiwa . This has given him the ability to empathize with those in our islands who are without a home. It has become his desire to help everyone, regardless of financial position, to become a homeowner. He also volunteers as board chairman of the National Hemophilia Foundation Hawaii Chapter, which was precipitated by the birth of his oldest son who is affected by the bleeding disorder. Advocacy, education and fundraising are areas that he oversees for this organization.

Currently residing and organic farming in Pupukea with his wife Ashley, raising two sons with a third on the way. Michael loves interacting with people and will use the utmost in resource and expertise in finding your dream home and in listing your property.
